In 2012, Yakem Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti, a foreign trade company incorporated with the aim of importing for the needs of the construction chemicals and cable industry, has become a production company as of 2015.

Our factory, which was established with completely domestic capital and a large investment, has expanded its product range and the sectors it serves with its strong R&D and production team. At the point it has reached today, Yakem Kimya continues to work uninterruptedly within the framework of sustainable growth policy.

HISTORY

Our journey from our foundation to the present…

2012

Yakem Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. was founded by Faik Gür with the purpose of importing and exporting raw materials.

2013

Yakem Kimya realized that being solely a raw material trading company did not align with its vision and shifted towards production. Accordingly, the foundations of our modern production facility were laid in İ.D.O.S.B on a 3,000 m² area, marking the first step toward developing value-added products.

2014

Our TIBP project was approved by TÜBİTAK. With this support, our R&D activities gained momentum. For the first time, we ensured the entry of bulk raw materials into our country and successfully completed the process with the support of the Ministry of Economy, achieving a significant milestone in the sector.

2016

Our TIBP project was once again approved by TÜBİTAK, accelerating our work. The arrival of bulk raw materials into our country for the first time was successfully managed with the support of the Ministry of Economy.

2017

Despite economic challenges both in Turkey and globally, we continued to expand our production line.

2018

With external consultancy support, we sustained our R&D efforts without interruption. We began exporting by offering our manufactured products to global customers.

2019

On our growth-oriented path, we renewed both our production line and our team.

2020

The onset of the pandemic brought uncertainty and challenges to the sector, but we were not discouraged. While many factories shut down or paused production, we continued manufacturing without interruption.

2021

In addition to our TIBP product, our R&D efforts led to the development of an alternative to the imported Sodium Lignosulfonate product. We proudly launched Turkish Ligno in the market.

2022

By increasing our export margin by 15%, we celebrated our 10th anniversary with pride, reaching an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons.

2023

We entered the food industry by producing auxiliary chemicals for sugar processes. This step allowed us to diversify our product portfolio and contribute to a new sector.

2024

We developed fertilizer auxiliary chemicals and secured our place in the agricultural sector.

2025

We began producing chemicals for the oil and natural gas industry, developing our own formulation products for production and drilling applications.

2026

We are developing innovative products for the mining and yeast industries.

2027 (Target)

We aim to enter the paper industry, further expanding our product portfolio and establishing a presence in a new sector.
